6/18. Monaco 2008 Race

Ferrari were in so strong position.....
In beginning I was thinking that Kimi toh will be able to do but Massa is vulnerable on a wet track..
But what happened was that Massa managed somehow to stay up leaving Kimi to bang the backs of young lads...
Opposite happened. Lewis overtook him before the first corner. Adi said " bhaiyya, is baar ye Ferrari waale chant nahi ban paye Brazil(2007) ki tarah"

Ok..tell me ..wat is blessing in disguse...
Lewis had a tire puncture on 5th lap I think so an early pit stop..Well that happend in the Swimming Pool area...so lucky that guy...Had this happened at the Mirabeau, his race wd hv been over.. And top of that a SC due to a DC accident nullified the gap between him abd Massa to almost nill [2-3 secs]He got loaded heavily and came out at a net 4th place.
And when his 2nd stop came it was a perfect time to switch to drys .. wooo.... between 1st and 2nd stop...wat a drive from him....scorching laps..one after another. Though right after the 1st one he was 1.5 secs slower than the leader....Painfully sloww...must be coz of heavy fuel load. Massa's laed over him had went to 17 secs from a mere 2 at this point of time...But after his 1st stop Massa failed to respond to Hamilton's lap times which kept on falling.At one time before Roseberg's crash, his lead was 40 sec....
Massa's error at turn gave a spot to Robert. Massa took it back after first pits but lost again after second one...gadha..
Sahi mein he cant drive in water.....
[edit] well one more thing happend to Massa there. When Mclaren changed their strategy to effectively a 1-stopper, Ferrari did the same. Loaded their second car full to end. But unfortunately he had to stop again JUST for tires....poor guy....

Now the Sutil story.. The German kept running till around 50th lap on initial fuel load.....went as high as 4th. Raikkonen was 3 or 4 secs behind on Lap 28...Sutil astonishingly then gave a no. of fastest laps...dunno how.....and increased his lead to around 8 secs if i rememberThen to 26 and then back to 16 and then again 20. In between both pitted however and came out in same order. It was so pleasant to see the marshall waving blue fags to Kovalainen's McLaren for Sutil at one time.
Roseberg's crash brought SC after which Kimi outbraked himsef and his out of control car broke the rear suspension of Sutil's VJMO1.. He retired with tears in eyes .... how sad..such a brave drive

Whatever but McLaren proved why Monaco is called their territory.....
Hamilton did what he did to win but Hikkie....
I mean wow man...... 1 after 1...he kept destroying his opponents......
At one time he was lapping in high 1.20s when second fastest man i.e. Hamilton was doing low 1.21s....wow... wat was he upto???
Was almost 13 seconds adrift of Roseberg......Soon it was all gone and he came within a couple of seconds of Roseberg. I feel Roseberg failed to take the Pressure Hikkie. Saw his crash in dying moments... which enforced the SC under which Raikkonnen hit Sutil...
Before this accident Kovlainen was behind Sutil who was a lap ahead. After the lapped cars were allowed to unlap themselves and Hikkie gone Sutil's radio said, "Kovalainen..he was behind you. He is actually a lap behind you anyway you need not to worry bout him."

Podium to Lewis- Kubica- Massa.....

And Mr Fernando Alonso.... he had promised a good drive....
and he kept his promise but his aggressive though saw him up to alomst 4th from 7th, couldnt save him from damaging his car a no. of times which led to his retirement finally...
Had been completed this cud have become his best drive so far of the season....

Driver wise 1 to Hamilton....the blacky....cant see him winning......i know he is the future...but haar jaye toh bhadhiya... ;) but he drivers like hell man he drives like hell
2 to Massa ( My fav this year)
and 2 to Kimi
and now today ...qulaifyni to Monaco.. Massa's Ferrari is on the pole again...woooo
Kim is 2 Ham is 3 and Kovalainen is 4th
5th Kub
7th Alonso :(( he won in 2006 and 2007 here :( so sad he is 7th....but no worry mates you are a champ!!!!!!

well this track has traditionally been a McLaren territory...but Ferrari's pace....wooofff.....
